Description Of Work:
Inspected the heating system (boiler), replaced thermostats throughout the house, repaired the temperature sensors, and installed a water softener.
Member Comments:
Tony arrived on time, and informed us of the progress throughout the day. Our heating system was not keeping the temperature consistent throughout the zones. I thought it was thermostat related but Tony quickly traced the issue to a relay issue in the valve system (a less expensive repair). We still had all thermostats replaced with programmable ones and the system is already saving us money and heating evenly. Tony also had our water tested (we are on a well) and confirmed that our water was hard (very hard). Since we have a large household he recommended a more expensive system than we had originally considered but his research proved right. He quoted us a price for the water softener with and without installation but we chose with installation. Tony called about 2 weeks after all of the work was done (took four days to complete all of the work) to confirm that eveything was working without issue. His estimates were spot on and we are very pleased with the work. We recommend him as he did a great job, cleaned up the work area, made reasonable recommendations for our consideration without being pushy, and has reasonable rates. Tony is our new go-to guy for plumbing and heating issues.

Description Of Work:
Tony removed and replaced my old, broken 90% efficient gas furnace with a more efficient 95% furnace with a better warranty and replaced some of the existing ducting. He removed the master bath exhaust fan and replaced it with a continuous use fan on a timer, configured to run for one out of every 3-4 hours to improve outside air exchange. He installed a larger fresh air vent in the garage and repaired a leak under one of the bathroom sinks created by another contractor when replacing a faucet.

Of the several contractors I requested bids from, Tony was in the mid-range, but he seemed to have the most integrity, and took the time to explain the differences in the various types of furnaces available. As a result, I was able to make an informed decision about what type of furnace to install. He was committed to completing the job in a timely manner,since our Alaskan winter was fast approaching.

Tony changed out the filter system on our water. He also fixed a hot water leak and a minor problem with the heating system.
Member Comments:
Tony is extremely professional, courteous and friendly. He ALWAYS answers his phone or returns phone calls immediately. There was some delay in getting the correct parts due to problems on the manufacturer's side. He ended up getting a much better system for us from a different manufacturer, but because he felt bad about the delay, he charged us only what he had initially said he would charge for the first system.
He was great from start to finish and I would definitely recommend him and use him again for any heating or plumbing issues.

Description Of Work:
Tony ran and installed metal ducts in crawl space to the kitchen, where he installed a register. Replaced existing flexiduct with new metal ductwork throughout crawl space where needed in order to carry heat to entire house. I supplied materials, which included additional metal ducts. The job took two full days.

The job went well although Tony needed to make trips to plumbing suppliers to purchase additional ducts. This happened because, although most ducts were already stacked in the crawl space from prior purchase, the job needed to progress in order to determine how many more ducts were needed. Cleanup to remove old flexiduct was successfully done on a separate day.

We had a great experience. I was really impressed with Tony. We had an appointment at 11, and he called me right then to inform me he was in a car accident. We rescheduled. When he came, he was very thorough and professional. He was able to help me with things around the house and gave me tips. He is very helpful. He came back the next day to wrap my pipes. He did not charge me anything for it. He is very very nice. I referred them to a friend and already. He was very professional. He was also very clean as well. I will definitely call them again.

On June 26th the initial inspection of my furnace, which was inoperable, revealed that the Combustion Motor had worn out. I agreed to have Tony order that part and then install it. I paid 50% of the estimated cost at that time, $230.71.
On July 24th Tony returned with the motor and installed. He also provided me with two furnace filters and a thermostat for no charge. The original thermostat had shorted out during the installation. He also installed a 3"x4" reducer, which was an additional charge. So my cost on this day was $242.11.
Tony was always polite, prompt, tidy, helpful, and professional. I have accepted a quote for Tony to perform additional work on my furnace system next week.

When I called to set up the appointment I asked whether they could address current problems - toilets running, replace filters in furnace, clean all drains. Tony said yes and came over to evaluate the systems first to be sure that he purchased the correct parts.

Tony came right over when my water heater broke and spewed water all over my garage. He arrived within 10 minutes of my call and explained everything very throughly. It was a Saturday and he still had my water heater totally replaced within two hours. I honestly couldn't believe how professional, quick, and wonder he made the whole process.
